We are a power seller on eBay and a preferred seller on Reverb. The consignee will be responsible for any and all fees from eBay or Reverb if the instrument is sold online, which totals to 10% of the sale price. If the instrument is sold in store there will be no additional fee.
Any instruments needing new parts, adjustments, extensive cleaning, or repairs being sold will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by Sound Beach Music for proper compensation to the store for parts and labor. In most cases the cost for repairs and adjustments will be deducted when the consignee is paid for the sale of the instrument.
Sound Beach Music will never lower the selling price of any instrument on consignment without the consent from the consignee.
Payment: The consignee will be paid by check 14 days after buyer receives the instrument.
Length of contract: The consignee agrees that Sound Beach Music will sell the instrument as the exclusive agent during the duration of the contract, which will be a minimum of 90 days that begins when the instrument is listed for sale. Sound Beach Music has the right to keep the instrument for 90 days or until the item is sold and either party has the right to discontinue the contract after 90 days. In the event that the contract is discontinued without sale of the instrument, the consignee is still responsible for any repairs or work done to the instrument.
